Students Or Parents?
Should students be choosing the books they can or cannot read? Or should it be their over protective parents? Hmmm.... lets think about this now...... would you want to be left behind in writing about a book just beacause your parents are afraid of what you might learn?

Are our school books not appropriate?
Lets assume that parent's object to parts of social studies textbook. Would you agree that the parents could request that their child not be required to read the parts they find objectionable?
NO! I myself think that this is ridiculous! Why should parents be hiding the real drama, violence, and even sexual parts of a book? I know alot of parents want to protect their children but its part of life. They are going to learn about it sooner or later won't they? Would you the parents rather teach them how the world is,or would you perfer them to read and study the facts of life? which seems more consistant to you? As a student I dont think anything of these spacific parts or areas as anything but simple education. It doesnt hurt me or scar me for the rest of my life. it just teaches me, makes me prepaird to go into the world alone. I dont get why parents are creating something so big over nothing at all. This is drama and i dont like it.

Looking out for yourself? I think not!
"Every person has a right to take care of themselves. He always did"
Not everyone takes care of themselves and only themselves. i think that the society were in now believes that treating someone first is more proper than treating your self first. Back then this wasn't in the high class society. They thought that it was all for one. The only one surviving. The top dog. it was cruel and inappropriate to act in such a manner. They thought that they only need themselves in the life. This greed shouldn't be the Primary basis is someones life. Giving and caring for each other should be the only perspective in life. If that isn't a goal to someone then their on there own. Our people cannot and will not accept someone who is selfish and greedy. Like i say its just INAPPROPRIATE.

Scrooges Diary
December 24, 1843
BAH! These damned people and their stupid holiday! Why must people celebrate Christmas? Why must they ask for givings? huh? Its annoying! All i ask is to be left alone. To let me sit in my house and do as i please or sit in my office and not to be bothered. My own clerk has asked for a WHOLE day off. a Whole day! What a disgrace it is. To watch the little child's run and have smiles on there face. To go home into a warm house and sit with there family's. To have the beggars ask for money. Money for what?! Their are prisons. And their are such work houses. To have them rather to be dead i say. dead! This day has been a such horribly annoying one. I am going to bed. A good afternoon i say. a good afternoon...

The Pearl
The Pearl is a exploring and exciting book. This book is about a small village farmer and his wife. It tells of his story and of his young child's death due to the problems that were caused by a pearl.
